Ideas for the Wind Moon
Tomorrow night is the night of the full moon, also known as the Wind Moon or the Seed Moon. This the time during the wheel of the year that the winds kick in and the seeds that have been dropped by the plants are blown around spreading life around the earth.
As this is a time of fertility and growth, when preparing your altar for ritual, use items that correspond with this time, such as Dandelions, Milkweed and Fennel, these are herbs that spread their seeds in the wind. Hang wind chimes from your altar and call to the Gods/Goddesses that coincide with fertility , such as Bendis and Pan. Connect with the element of air and nourish your dreams so that they may grow into the reality that you deem righteous for yourself.
Consume yourself with the joy of growth by planting seeds, not only in the soil, but within your soul and most importantly DANCE. By spiraling around with the wind around your body, you cleanse your soul and fill it with happiness and fulfillment.
